A safe, stable home provides the foundation for a better future. Through our affordable homeownership program, families can purchase a quality home with a no-interest and/or low-interest mortgage. This is not a giveaway—homeowners work alongside volunteers, contributing “sweat equity” to help build their homes.

To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a need for affordable housing (unsafe, overcrowded, or high-cost living conditions).
- Show the ability to repay a Habitat mortgage with stable income.
- Be willing to partner by completing required volunteer hours.
